The CRNZ sprint nationals are even earlier than previous years for 2013 and now that we have just turned into the new year they are almost upon us at 15, 16 and 17 February.
Usual practice is U23, U18, Open and Vets on the Friday races and the Novice, U14 and U16 age groups come in for Saturday and Sunday races.
CRNZ have the programme on their website now and you can enter for your chosen event(s) via http://crnz.sportingdna.com/en/users/login
We need to know that that you are looking to go pretty much immediately so please email firstname.lastname@example.org or some sort of advice to either Mark or Greg would be the best approach.
If you are thinking this may not be for you, take the example of Malcolm and Sandy Robbins who came to the last regatta in December and raced at the event. They also managed a great weekend away with family, mountain biking at Redwoods and of course brilliant company of the paddlers and associated folk from MKRC!! It really is an event for paddlers of all levels/abilities.
Once we know who is going we will organise into team boats also.
Training is still Saturday and Sunday mornings from 8am, and Tuesday and Thursdays at 6 pm. Please note – Tuesdays and Thursdays are different to the most recent e-mail you may have received regarding subs, which said Wednesday nights.
