Hi all

Isn’t this weather amazing, it is so nice to feel warm when out paddling. Hey, there is quite a lot happening at the moment so this is a good opportunity to keep you all updated with heaps of options to fill your time up with kayaking.

Whanganui River Challenge

We will still be training this Saturday and Sunday at MKRC.

Saturday’s session will be a pyramid session 4′-3′-2′-1′-2′-3′-4′ on with 1′ rest, repeated 3 times.

Sunday’s session will be about aerobic conditioning – good opportunity to get into team boats (for some) and Junior girls you will be in K1’s this weekend.

Tuesday Rubber Ducky Racing

Registration 6pm Hataitai Beach/Greta Point, Evans Bay.  Racing to start at 6.30pm.

The races are getting close, as the handicaps start to take effect. If you haven’t been to one yet you’re missing out on some of the best racing around and everyone had a chance of winning on a given night.  If you need a boat please contact Brian Grace by Sunday evening and let him know what you require. Even better is to see him on Sunday at training. Check out our website for race results.

Blue Lake 2 – 8th and 9th December

These events are a lot of fun and is a great weekend away. Heaps of races and a fantastic venue.  For multi-sporters, bring all your toys as there’s great running and mountain biking all accessible from the venue. Check out this link for more information.

Can you please let me know if you are coming to the regatta by Monday 19 November.

We look forward to seeing you all out on the water
